YES.
Stam- great defender still
Vermaelen- great prospect. Potentially WC.
Urby- proved me wrong. Pretty decent defensivly and great going forward.
Maduro- you know I rate him really high.
Gabri- looks like a good buy from what I've seen. Just need to settle.
Huntelaar-
Rosales- seems to be improving
Rosenberg- really like him. Don't know why but he seemed a good left winger. Don't know why he is so out of the picture.

You see...I rate your team real high and you will be champions this year.

I have to agree i rate Huntelaar a bit...
Vermaelen looks good this year, but i think that has a lot to do with Stam.

And Gabri is good ofc..

Because all he has is a good shot now and then. He loses to many balls and his passing isn't exactly that good either.

Because all he has is a good shot now and then. He loses to many balls and his passing isn't exactly that good either.

He will improve, hes young and gifted (hope he will)..

If you read the HSV-thread where he's mentioned as a possible transfer you'll see that after laughing at his ability as a defender (and it's impossible to argue with that) a lot of posters mention that they think he's got a lot of potential....

Kluivert was good for the club (a talent) but he is not in 'my' top; great Ajax players (my views i don't represent any Ajax fans, some may regard him highly but i don't some may agree with me..)

The instant hyping of any player once he's signed for Ajax.

The inability to see anything negative about any player in your selection.

Declaring Huntelaar an Ajax legend while you didn't educate him and he's only played a half year for you.

Sure he's a *great* player and yes he might become a legend, but at the moment he has more of a Heerenveen legacy than an Ajax legacy....

I don't rate Huntelaar as a Ajax Legend -- that would be ludicrous .. some do (but not me).

I rate him as a current Top Ajax player, maybe in a season or two -- i could compare him to Ajax players in the last 10 years...then Ask the Question: is he more effective than Zlatan?

You know before you signed Klaas, the core of the Ajax-fans thought Kluivert should be the nr 1 striker for Holland.

That he didnt played good for years didnt affect them. Its just that Ajax-supporters, and the Dutch media as well, thinks that when a player puts on an Ajax-shirt that he will be a great player.

I still remember a lot of Ajaxfans saying Klaas is nothing more then a copy of Ruud(is agree on this btw) but know suddenly he is Crujff, Maradonna and Pele in one.

You have to understand -- Ajax due to its success in the past, has a reputation and the fans believe they deserve to be successful .. 11 years no European Cup etc (when are we going to win?)

Let me tell you this, i wasn't in the core of the fans wanting Kluivert in the Dutch setup.

I bet you and most fans were angered when it was Cruijff that told the KNVB to select van Basten as coach...

Well i wasnt angered in the beginning. I mean i was tired of looking again at the faces of: de Boer, Seedorf, Davids etc.

He did what the people demanded, making room for the youth. So far, so good but after not selecting van Bommel( he was by far the best Dutch footballer that year) people started asking themselves what he was doing.

Selecting a team with a lot of ajax players didnt helped as well. Especially when that team was 24 points behind PSV and 11 behind Feyenoord.

Look, now its Hunterlaar who is being idolized while he still has to prove if he is capeble for the topmatches.

The best Ajax-player you can compare him i think is Wim Kieft...

Huntelaar's biggest challenge this season is to be consistent and as you say BE A BIG GAME PLAYER

I want him to do well in the European Nights (if Ajax get there)

I want San Marco to give Hofs a chance..
