Neill isn't between him and the ball, so no he doesn't have to hurdle over him.

Neil blocks his path. Look where the ball is in the first pic compared to the second.

Let's agree that it was a controversial penalty. Some would have called, some wouldn't have.

Yeah, Grosso took a touch. Neill isn't between him and the ball in any of the pics.

also it has been 191 years since my country's independence declaration...which means...tomorrow I've got no work nor classes.

Yeah right, when Materazzi was unfairly sent off. Australia under Hiddink = Korea Mk II. Flood the midfield and lots of aimless running.

PS Grosso would have stayed on his feet if it happened on the halfway line, but he saw the opportunity to 'win' a penalty and he took it. I think most players would have done the same.

Yeah I know, Forza Milan isnt Italian either, but they both still support the Italian national team and Italian football clubs.

You complain about threads being ruined by 'top 4 club' fans, talking about their clubs, yet you have ruined this thread. I am not really bothered either way as I dont support the Italian national team, but I am just looking at things from an Italian fans perspective.

Not at all anyone who wants to celebrate Italy winning the WC can, unfortunately there's only 1 person that wants to do it.

I thought it was great that the frogs lost the World Cup final, especially with Zidane self destructing so spectacularly.

I still say Grosso had every right to go down - if someone puts their leg that near you and your in the box then only idiots wouldn't hit the deck

I remember this day when I had my face painted green,white and red...had my Italy shirt and a flag draped round me. I still have the picture on comp

I did the same for England vs Portugal and England vs France in Euro 2004 and Italy vs Bulgaria.
