It seems that quite a few of the moves that EPL clubs were going to make this summer have already happened, so its probably worthwhile taking stock and assessing what further transfers there could be.

Chelsea look very keen on either Chimbonda or Alves for the right back position - if Sheva goes to Milan/Inter it is also possible that they'll be in the market for a forward - not sure on any possible name yet but you can expect the usual suspects to be banded around.

Man Utd look set to wind up their dealings with the transfer of Tevez

Liverpool are apprently after one more signing - either a winger or a defensive back up - names like Heinze, Simao and Quaresma are being banded about

Arsenal - who knows. Possibly a midfielder/winger. It depends on what happens to Ljungberg

Newcastle - I expect a few more interesting dealings from Newcastle - a left back and a midfielder are priority

Spurs - Need a left winger and if Chibmonda leaves a right back as well. Other tha that they're sorted

Everton - quiet so far but they're being linked with Vogel. Could do with a decent winger too

Portmouth should be looking to add a bit more squad depth, espeically in defence

Aston Villa, West Ham and Man City all have a bit of moeny to throw about. Could their respective fans fill us in on possible transfer and positions that need strengthening

    Middlesbrough - who cares? Wink

And the rest - Not too sure on the levels of investment the other EPL clubs will be making, although its likely to be more limited amounts than the aforemntioned teams

Curbishley has said he will be bringing in 3/4 more players.

Our player exits have now gone up to about 9. With a possible 2/3 leaving.

Curbs wanted 3 more players...but because Benyoun has been a c**t we now need 4.

We're supposed to be getting a new right back, possibly a left back and he said he wants a new right winger aswell.

    Positions and names being linked?

    LB-Nicky Shorey
Winger-SWP (but looks unlikely)...not sure who else has been linked.
    CM-Appiah (looks likely).
Striker: Gudjohnsen and a few others...

I'm thinking we have a big deal in the works.

We've been linked to Wilhelmsson, Gokdeniz and Kanouté, what we need are a RB and a creative CM. Seydou Keita would have been brilliant but he's gone to Seville, so I'm guessing Danny Murphy or Steeeeeeeed would do. RBs are harder to come by, but I'd look at Reveillère from lyon who's being pushed out of the team by Clerc.

I fucking hope not we've only spent £1.7m net and we still need 3 or 4 defenders and a defensive midfielder(according to Fat Sam himself). affraid

Sam played 4-4-2 last night when he could easily have played 4-5-1/4-3-3 which was odd, so maybe a defensive midfielder isn't that vital. I wouldn't be disappointed to see a Barton-Geremi partnership.
