    What does everyone think?

I like Pearce and it's good to see him still in a job after Man City. He's certainly got the credentials as an England player and he should command some respect from his team and give them a bit of fighting spirit.

But is he up to the job tactically and technically?

He is such a proper Brit! He hates those damn divers, never bitter when he lost a game. Nor will he ever moan about the red! A Psycho and a proper British gentleman..

He is a bad coach though...but who cares <Ale>

    Yes! exactly!
Besides, do we really care about how well our U-21's do?
Lets be honest, no. Our clubs and national teams get all our attention so as far as i'm concerned Pearce is welcome to try his luck with the U-21's.

What i will say though is that with a passionate manager like Pearce at the helm he should be able to instil some real national pride in the players from a very young age. If anyone can convey the importance of playing with the three lions on your shirt to our players when they are at a young age - he can ok .
