Woodgate hardly played due to injury, Owen was left on the bench for the majority of his time there despite being 2 top scorer for the club behind Ronaldo, and Beckham has just won La Liga and played an important role in that achievement. "English plan" sounds bizarre when there were more Spanish and Brazilians (Baptista, Ronaldo, Carlos, Robinho) there at the time. Typical Puro Spin ;-)
