Sadly he's never fufilled his potential as a result of injuries. He could have god down as a top class player but I think he's only ever scored more than ten goals in one season

He scored 32 goals in one season for Fulham in the Championship, and 24 the season he moved from Fulham to Man Utd...

Bit harsh to call him average...but he isn't a top striker either.

I'd say he's even better than 'good' but just not a top striker.Freddie Ljungberg wrote:Solidus wrote:Really there should be an option between top and average.

When fit he's very good, just not quite top. Problem is he's made of glass.

I wouldn't go that far, but i would agree that Saha is underrated and certainly would have achieved more without the inuries holding him back.

Saha can score headed goals, Henry can't.
In fact, Henry missed yet another sitter on his head in a friendly against Hearts the other day...

Thats the season I meant.
He had two seasons in the championship where he scored 10+ goals.
Doesn't really disprove the point I was making though, does it

What? You're now saying Henry's heading is poor! Jeez, you're getting more controversial everyday. Talk about being "out-there".

Hleb when on his game is better than Cristian Ronaldo.... but it only happens about two games a season.

The main problem is that he gets injured all the time. When he's fit and confident he's very good. Another problem with him is that he can either score some really nice and difficult goals and miss some unmissable goals. So in fact he hasn't got this killing instinct Van Nilsterlroy has and he is quite irregular. Last year he had a very good run, when he scoring important goals for France and for Man. U, then he got injured and his ratio goal per game was poor.
He was obviously at his best when he played for Fulham then signed for Man. u.
Fulham: 117 games, 53 goals
Manchester Utd: 69 games, 23 goals
France: 20 games, 7 goals.
That's not too bad though.

So that must make him the world's best striker then. One season of 24 goals in a top league, 34 goals in the championship and an average total in another season beats over 17 goals for 7 seasons running

Yes he is. I've seen Titus Bramble play better than Cristiano Ronaldo on some weeks.

Well, if he's better than Henry, and Henry is the world's best striker (as you and so many others have said), then yes, he is.
One season of 24 goals in a top league, 34 goals in the championship and an average total in another season beats over 17 goals for 7 seasons running
Like I said, Saha is only better than Henry when fit. There's no escaping his horrific injury record.
Only that isn't actually true, Hleb is never better than Ronaldo...

A blatant lie to try to dig yourself out of a hole.
Regardless, a fit Saha, Strongbow, the FOREHEAD >>>> Henry

Its a personal opinion of yours saints, and as long as you hold that opinion I'll hold the opinion that Hleb is better than Ronaldo
We're both as wrong (or right) as each other...
