I think Fernando Hierro would make a great coach.

I don't think Lehman would, partly because I don't think he would pass the psychological evaluation required to get your license.

Edit: Forgot you said current players, so I'll say Raul Bravo. He's alredy inspire millions. If he becomes coach, he'll inspire billions

Theo Walcott is the obvious name that springs to mind.

Certainly Neville will want to go into management, he may even get a top club early doors, but his main attribute is determination and you need a lot more than that to be a top manager.

Saying that Neville has as much chance as any other aging ex England international.

Gary's alot more intelligent than he comes across also. He's forthright, honest and a pretty likable character. away from the football pitch.

He's already done some analysing on MUTV and knows his stuff.

he is utterly detestable, weak and arrogant

I can't imagine how any players would enjoy him as a manager or how he would control a changing room

i'd like to see giggs give it a go. he's quiet but has a presence and would command respect wherever he goes. can't see him being interested though

This is where hate gets in the way of judgement.

Giggs would be a woeful manager imo, far too nice and laid back.

Ballack already saved the Nationalmannschaft from almost total disaster at the World Cup

with Klinsi and Loew in charge we would probably have lost against Sweden in the second round

Ballack effectively told them to "f@ck yourselves" and sorted out the mess himself



as for Schneider:: he has very little charisma; not so sure; it does not work at Liverpool and Bremen either

I forgot to add Trochowski: no doubt he will retire in a year's time in frustration

the expertise he has gained under Stevens will make him a real management star of the future

you're right they might do all right in a 2nd rate league like the bundesliga, but they're not good enough for the top leagues like EPL, Serie A or la Liga

I saw an interview with alonso (I think) where he said carragher was one of the most intelligent and informed footballers he'd ever met, he just couldn't understand what he was saying

He's really smart actually, has massive knowledge of English & continental football, its just hes a scouser so it doesn't come off as such.

He told Dudek to do the wobbly legs remember.

For Holland the only obvious pick is the recently retired Cocu. He knows his stuff, played on always any position there is, is regarded as a mentor by young kids, played under the best coaches in the world en has the brains to be a top manager himself.
