I think he's been watching too many Real Madrid matches. He's electing to punch a lot more nowadays. Surely he must have seen from some of Casillas' performances that you're a lot more vulnerable when you punch.

Based on the last 2 performances, I think our whole defence has been watching Real Madrid Laugh

Actually, our defense is pretty much the only thing we got going at the moment. Casillas-Pepe-Cannavaro-Torres have worked very well.

The difference with Casillas though is that when he punches it he clears it away from danger. Poor Cech doesn't even know how to make contact with it lol!

Yeah I suppose it is a bit harsh on Casillas. He can't be $h!t at dealing with long shots AND crosses Laughing

Hansen will be flipping out about that though. That guy had acres of space through the middle. 3 defenders on Elano while none on the other guy. Laugh

He was closed down by the right back - he curled it with the outside of the boot, which is harder than it looks scratch

Not just the finish, but the whole build-up - the running, the movement, the passing, the little wait by Geovanni and the finish.

The goal was very good, but the marking was elementary school style. You don't leave a 10 metter gap in the middle of the penalty area.

Really? Shocked Everytime I watch Real he's either beaten by a free kick or parrying away nervously.

Is there anything Casillas isn't great at then? Tying his shoes? Combing his hair? 'Cause he seems to be faultless on the football pitch.

Tonight was more like it from Scholes. Yeah he has great vision, but the best quality Scholes had imo was making those trademark runs and those trademark shots that used to find the corner of the net. I know he has lost a bit of pace (he was never the quickest anyway) so it's harder for him to make those runs, but I think that lately he has become too shy in front of goal for a player of his quality, who can produce goals out of nothing.
