So for a player to be a legend he has to have won trophies (Fowler's won every bar the league and european cup anyways). Rubbish.

Jesus christ, I can believe I'm even attempting to debate this. Up until today I wouldn't have been able to find a single Utd or Everton fan, regardless of how bias, who didn't believe Fowler was a Liverpool Legend.

I personally regard him as a very limited player. Who's partly to blame for some of the horrendous style of play we had under Houllier.

In all honesty. The first words that come into my head as far as Michael Owen are concerned are "wasted talent". He's a bit like Fowler in that respect, but not thought of as fondly. He did himself no justice by running down his contract to the final year, then saying he left to win trophies. That pissed alot of people off.

I think he's thought of fondly by most, but probably not as a legend.

Owen's a difficult one. I like him but I'm glad we didn't resign him. He's a bit of a one trick pony - great at converting half chances and I'm sure we got his best years. Similar to McManaman in a sense that I'll always have a soft spot for him but he'll never be a ledgend. Fowler is a local lad and genuinly loves the club - that's why he is so highly reguarded. Granted he never fulfilled his massive potential, but in some ways that makes us love him more. The English love an underdog.

shouldn't think so, Dalglish, Hunt and Rush are ahead of him. 120 goals in 236 appearances for us isn't bad though.

1) This kid called Calum had the same birthday as my in my secondry school I want the attention on MY birthday. Me, me, me!

2) Both gerrard and lampard scored more goals than Jenas, and finished in higher possitions in the league.
