It was a 1-1 draw. Did anyone see it yesterday? Diouf played well as did Essien, who captained Ghana in absence of Stephen Appiah. Andre Ayew, son of Abedi Pele made his international debut - only got three minutes at the end, but may be worth keeping an eye on for future father and son threads. What do people think of Ghana and Senegal and African football in general?

Re: Ghana v Senegal
I have givin up on senegal and i cant see them playing any big role in future football for africa. Ghana on the other hand looked very good in the world cup which came a bit out of nowhere since the underperformed at the nations cup(allthough without some stars). in general im guesing nigeria under some good management will be the top team and potential world cup surprise in 2010.

Regarding Senegal, te big one is versus Burkina Faso. They may still qualify. They looked pretty good yesterday, but it was a friendly. Ghana looked good even in the absence of Appiah. You do know that Nigeria is managed by Berti Vogts don't you?

Re: Ghana v Senegal
Does anyone of you know Sani Kaita and Dele Adeleye. Both are internationals for Nigeria and while Adeleye has done well for Sparta so far Kaita has managed to look extremly average...and that from a player who already played the ACN.

Re: Ghana v Senegal
Cameroon looked very lackluster against Japan today, I am worried that they will again fail to make an impact at the ACN. Ghana have to be my favorites at this stage along with the Ivory Coast.
