Darius Henderson has handed in a transfer request and Fulham have made a bid of £1.5m following the injury to McBride:
LEICESTER CITY and Sheffield United are reportedly interested in signing Watford's want away striker Darius Henderson after the big striker spoke out against the Hornets.
Aidy Boothroyd has offered the former Gillingham front man a new, improved deal in bid to keep Henderson at Vicarage Road after rejecting a £1.5m offer Fulham and a subsequent written transfer request from the player.
However, the prospect of the forward putting pen to paper appears to be getting slimmer after he claimed Watford had broken assurances made after a £1.3m approach from Preston earlier in the summer was accepted, but Henderson opted against joining Paul Simpson's team.
Boothroyd later had a change of heart about letting Henderson leave but the striker said: "I find it very disappointing that the manager assured me, after accepting the bid from Preston earlier in the summer, that if a similar bid was made I would be allowed to leave."
I like the man but I'm amazed that an established Prem club wants him !
At least if he goes we still have The Rich Man's Berbatov - seen here mugging off the world footballer of the year (1min 48 secs)
