Most of what is written about football in the Press is lies. I remember Max Clifford saying that 80% of stories are pure fiction. When asked how he knew he said "because I'm the one who makes them up." I doubt we'll ever know the truth until the team start publishing their memoirs.

If Mourinho really singled out Sheva for criticism following the Rosenborg game then it shows just how biased he is.
He was the wrong player at the wrong time for Chelsea but any manager who desperately wants one of his own players to fail to prove a point was going to come a cropper sooner or later.
Quite possibly the fact that Sheva still refuses to speak English hasn't done him any favours?
but he interpreted for Abramovich, right? So he can speak some English. Also, English would be the only common language between Mourinho (doesn't speak Russian or Italian so far as I know) and Shevchenko (doesn't speak Portugese, French or Spanish) so how do you have a 'blazing row' if you don't understand each other

Mourinho speaks Italian. When Sheva has done any interviews for the British media he has refused to speak in English. Abramovich and Sheva both speak Russian.

He said he wants to learn Italian so not so sure he speaks it. Sheva claimed his move from Milan was due to his wife wanting the kid to speak english, so im sure he was learning english.

And a third said: "Not only does Grant have 'Loser' embedded in his forehead, he's got it with disco laser effects!"
