Tough away games for 3 of the big 4. Hoping they all drop points.

Arsenal should win and pull clear.

I know Man utd have an excellent record at Villa Park but im hoping Villas recent improvements will stop that run.

Merseyside Derby is never easy and as its at Goodison, im hoping Everton edge it.

Chelsea have lost last 2 season at Boro and thats when they were decent.

You reckon Arsenal can win the league? i know asking you may well be a stupid question, but i havent heard an arsenal fan on here say it yet.

We always beat Villa, i enjoy playing them, they play open football, and we can just rip them apart.

I still can't believe that FA Cup game from 2001/2002. Villa went 2-0 up and then van Nistelrooy came off the bench and scored twice in a 3-2 comeback.

    Cripps is uber positive.

If we're top or close to top place by Jan, then i think we have a great chance of going all the way.

We should beat Bolton easily, they're a shocker to what they once were.

    Yeah its the same guy.

As for whether Arsenal can win the league this season or not? Il answer that after we lose our first game. Its how we react to defeat which for me is vital

Normally I dread this game given our recent record. Though I back Bolton to shape up sooner or latter, I have to thank our draw for having this game sooner than latter. Given the form Bolton is in, I think we should win this one.

With respect to winning the league, I still am in kind of agreement with what Patrice Evra said sometime back. It will boil down to how we react after that inevitable loss.

We were blowing the league away in the season after our unbeaten season, but one loss was enough to derail everything. Even last season every loss inevitably produced a one or two game slump. If we can avoid that, come May we will be near the top if not the very top.

LRD, I've said before the season started Arsenal could win the league (not odds on fav) & I predicted Henry's departure to be a blessing in disguise. Imo Arsenal's chances have gone up. See no resason why we can't win the league (doesn't mean we're odds on fav -yet).

Puro, also predicted Sven to do very well at City. I predicted either them or NUFC finsihing 5th.

Talking about Newcastle, what will happen if they beat Spurs? Would that be Jol's last match in charge? Anyway still think -like I predicted before the season started- that Spurs will have a new manager next season.

    Come on Toon!

Victim of my own success Kimbo, that's all. Most of the times have been good, but people remember the few bad picks. I called Villarreal to rise with the elite FOUR seasons ago when people saw them as relegation candidates.

I called PSV to win Eredivisie during Farfán's first year when no Dutchies gave them a chance.

What I'm most proud of is telling you all that England football team was full of hype and nothing else. You were preparing a World Cup victory parade 3 months before the start of the World Cup FFS! With what Kimbo? with what? with them "7 or 8 world class players plus Rooney"! Biggrin <Ale>

This weekend's fixtures presents a major opportunity for us. With Bolton's start to the season, we should really be looking for three points whilst Man Utd have a tough game against an in form Villa. Liverpool may well also drop some points whilst Chelsea may try and push themselves back into the top 4

Birmingham at home for us, got to be looking for 3 points but it wont be easy cos Brum only conceeded 1 goal in last 3 games against Liverpool, U*d and Bolton. If we win we will have played 6 won 6 at home which would be incredible and to be on 22 points after 10 games is brilliant form.

Still it wont be easy i just hope Johnson and Bianchi are both fit and everyone comes back ok from international week.

we always lose to man utd. i don't expect this weekend to be any different, although i'd like to think we'll at least make a game of it. most likely, it'll either be a concede early and never look like getting back into it kind of game, or a struggle bravely for a draw for 89 minutes then let in a soft goal. either way, it won't be happy viewing. i hate man utd.

Agger, Alonso, Torres, Masch all doubtful, (agger will definately miss out as will Alonso most likely)

It is going to be the toughest Derby in years and knowing rafa after the international break I really don't want to see the team he will put out Sad
