Portofino is indeed gorgeous. Its not exactly Genoa though is it. Its like saying that Bristol has Bath

Just coz you keep crying about it, as if I have hatched up a huge conspiracy just to humiliate you and SAF
Truth is, I just listed the candidates people voted for in the previous poll... like I ve explained a zillion times on that thread... its not my shortlist.
And I hope you are refering to Italian football, not Italy in general... coz I am not Italian. You will be surprised how many times I critise various things in Italian football... I guess your selective mind probably blanks that out... but as a Italian football fan, one of the very few here, I guess I have to defend it often in this forum - nothing wrong or surprising about that.

Grow up? Because I said he should be included.
This from someone who throws a fit anytime someone says anything remotely bad about Italy.

@Oleguer,
Were "horseface" and "San Iker" who saved all Capello's teams?? Just look at his fantastic achievements as a coach with so many different teams, and you will realise that last season was no fluke.
Yeah, Barca under performed... but the Real of last 3-4 seasons (pre capello) would have still not won it. IMO Capello does walk away with a lot of credit.
Tho I can understand why Barca fans don't like Capello

It worked though
Dream team II came close but in the end it was Capello's magic that secured the title!!

No doubt that Capello has achieved a lot but last year was a mess.. Anybody that watched Spanish football last season would have noted that Iker made 3-4 world class saves in every game to compensate for a pathetic defence, and RVN poached a lot of goals despite the fact that the midfield was completely unable to create chances for him..
Iker, RVN and Ramos.. those are the ones that won the title, despite Capello's efforts

that part is true. it is proven in the fact that capello left nothing to work with for shuster other then "spirit"( ). the first 20 something games where we got results is maybe not all his foult but he should get credit for the last 13 or so games which won the league. with that said i wont vote for him.Oleguerisntthatbad wrote:bluenine wrote:@Oleguer,

Fully deserved IMO , who thought in his 21st season at the club he would wrestle back the Premiership title from an ever seeming dominant Chelsea and guide Manchester United to the semi-finals of the Champions League and reach a FA Cup Final. Expectations are high this season; I can see them fulfilling it.

I'd actually go with Ramos. Seville have done amazing things on a small budget and went toe to toe with the big boys of Spain until the last day despite being in 3 other competitions whereass the others were only foccusing on the league and not nearly the depth of the big 2.
