Predict your league's top scorer

With about 10 or 11 games gone in most of the major leagues around Europe, who do you think looks most likely to end up as the top scorer?

Current standings for Spain:

Messi/Rossi/Aguero/Luis Fabiano - 7
Morientes/Raul/Guiza/Oliveira - 6
Henry/Van Nistelrooy/Kanoute/Arango/Sneijder - 5

With Etoo to come back, Villa still not playing regularly, and Milito off colour this season, van Nistelrooy looks like the most likely candidate. But I think Aguero and Oliveira would be my picks right now.


Current standings for England:

Benjani - 8
Adebayor/Anelka/Cesc/Keane - 6
Kapo/McCarthy/Van Persie - 5

Unusual to see no Drogba, Rooney, etc. in there. With the African Cup in January, I don't think the first two can finish top scorers at the end of the season, and that discounts Drogba too. So right now I'll go with Rooney, because Man. Utd. are bound to score lots of goals, and he's their first choice striker.

La liga - Rossi, no bias at all the guy is just pure quality. Plus he takes penalties he will definitly get 20+

Premiership - Ronaldo, He's as likely to score as anybody else, plus he takes the pens and free kicks. Not sure how much he has at the moment but he will catch up.

Seria a - Totti...Not sure where he's been lately but should easily finish top scorer again.

Bundesliga - Klose

Ligue 1 - Bellion

Holland - Alves

Spl - Mcdonald

Miroslav Klose in all his glory.

Seria A - Trezeguat / Totti

La liga - RVN / Kanoute

Premiership - Keane / Anelka

Bundesliga - Toni / Klose

E.P: Drogba or Benjani (this guy has some real talent)

Serie A: Trezeguet - Totti

Spanish: Rossi or R.V.N

French: Benzema

German: Klose or Toni

EPL: RVP or maybe even Alves

Serie A: Trezeguet

La Liga: RVN

Ligue 1: Benzema

Bundesliga: Toni

Eredivisie: Huntelaar

EPL: Really tough to decide, but I'll go surprisingly for Rooney.

Serie A: its between Totti and Trezerguaet. I think Totti in the longer term will have the consistency to win it back to back.

La Liga: Another tough one, but can't look beynog RVN again. Messi with an outside chance

Rooney is in great form at the moment, however he doesn't take penalties and he does have great spells, follwed by quiet spells. I'm actually fairly confident he can on a longer run this season though.

Other contendors - Drogba, Lampard, Anelka, RVP, Ronaldo, Benjani.
