I think the idea is to have another van Bommel type player- not to replace him. For games like last night's we need some fighters. Only technical ability can't win you all the matches against the Bielefelds of the world.

bayern is an engine in world football, roma has no chance to win international titles

It will be very difficult for you to pry De Rossi out of Roma... even with 20M. I doubt De Rossi will ever leave the city where he has a demi God status, just like Totti.

Frey would be an excellent buy, and that might be possible if Fiorentina fail to make the CL. But that will be a big money move too, Fiorentina will not let him go easily. See the highlights of the Inter-Fiorentina game last weekend to know why.

Can't wait to see Bayern in the CL, where they should be. I think next season you guys will be one of the favourites.

bayern see that on international level our midfield is not good enough, they need a born fighter, every big team has a fighter and tackler

bayern looked shaky in all three uefa cup games

Bayern isn't team they were once,IMHO Bremen have taken over as Germany's leading club team.

when a player is so closely associated with ONE club he will probably only leave to play in a different league

hence, a move to Bayern

i would prefer Bayern to build up Ottl

but maybe they want somebody grittier

he is one of the best, but not a real DM, he is a nr. 6 and a number 10 in one person

Sagnol has personal problems with Ottmar , its not ability that is keeping him out.
Bayern should go for Toulalan in my opinion but he would be expensive as well.

Not really support, but they are my favourite German team. My cousins live in Munich and they took me to a game in 2002 and bought me a Ballack jersey (I think it was his first season with the club). That's when I started liking Bayern and following them in the Bundesliga.

We already asked about De Rossi this past summer. Roma said no.

Bayern should be more focused on giving Sosa some minutes. If he doesn't get in the team. He should go to somewhere like Villarreal where he'd be a fantastic replacement for Riquelme.
