I know he isn't, hence why I said he'd be a good replacement for Riquelme.

Surely with Van Bommel, Ze Roberto, Ottl & Dimichelis; Bayern have enough players for the DM role?

The problem isn't defensively, it's going forward, the only central midfield player that seems to be able to open a defence is Ze Roberto. Bayern ATM are too dependent on Ribery. If Ribery doesn't play well Bayern won't win the game.

He's better than Cani, Carzorla & Pires. Besides, Carzorla & Pires can play wide. He's much better defensively than Riquelme anway, he's AM-CM hybrid from what I've seen.

De Rossi won't leave Roma. Bayern Munich isn't that much of a step up from Roma.

You must have got it confused with the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. The UEFA Cup was its successor; sadly UEFA does not recognise the Inter-Cities Fair Cup. The 3 European titles (recognised by UEFA) are the former Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup and the European Cup. Bayern Munich is one of 3 clubs to have won these 3 cups once.

I think it´s great when Bayern buy star players from abroad. It´s not only good for Schalke, Bremen etc., but also for the whole Bundesliga for many different reasons.

it will also help understanding different styles of games , their strengths and weaknesses by having a more multicultural environment which will only help in the long run.

I don't think Pirlo would play in Germany. Ever. Neither would De Rossi. Italy, despite its problems, is the standard on the pitch. Italy and Milan are champions. Serie A is part of the big 3.

I know you have a penchant for satire and the ironic, but if you actually believe that others will follow Toni, who moved abroad because Della Valle didn't want him to move to Inter and Calciopoli, you are seriously mistaken.
