Not sure if anyone else has posted this, so I apologise if they have already, but the 'big 4' have now all played each other. 6 games which have, as expected produced few goals over all.

    Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea (Torres; Lampard)
Man Utd 2-0 Chelsea (Tevez; Saha pen)
    Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal (Gerrard; Fabregas)
Arsenal 2-2 Man Utd (Fabregas, Gallas; Gallas og, Ronaldo)
    Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd (Tevez)
    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea (Gallas)

    1. Man Utd (1-2) 2 1 0 5 2 +3 7
    2. Arsenal (2-1) 2 1 2 0 4 3 +1 5
    3. Liverpool (3-0) 0 2 1 2 3 -1 2
    4. Chelsea (0-3) 0 1 2 1 4 -3 1

I think Liverpool's record is worse considering they've had all 3 games at home.

Rafa's record in these games since he arrived is woeful.

Ours looks poor, but (like you said about Liverpool) all our games have been away. If we were to win the 3 at the Bridge (difficult but possible) we would have 10 points which wouldn't be bad. You should win your 2 home games and then be looking for something at the Bridge so imo you'll finish top of the group. 'Pool have it all to do.

Liverpool's record is that not of a top side. I am very sure man utd only have a better record against 2-3 other prem teams than they do with Liverpool in recent years. Mourinho only lost to him in the league once i believe?

It may suit Liverpool playing away from home with there current squad, especially if the curse of the set piece is removed. The likelihood is it won't matter by time they go to the emirates, but we'll see.

Liverpool's record must be a big worry for them. Last season they were pretty hopeless away from home in the big matches, particularly at the Emirates and Old Trafford. Well done to Man Utd, 7 points with two home games still to go is impressive, particularly as they were very close to getting a win against us as well.

    Head-To-Head Table 06/07
    1. Arsenal - 11 pts
    2. Man Utd - 8 pts
    3. Chelsea - 7 pts
    4. Liverpool - 6 pts

    Premier League Table 06/07
    1. Man Utd - 89 pts
    2. Chelsea - 83 pts
    3. Liverpool - 68 pts
    4. Arsenal - 68 pts

The head-to-head battles between the top 4 last season didn't make that much of an impact on who won the league in my opinion. Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd ended up being a reserve match.

But this season it looks like its going to be completely different, so it is good job Man Utd are top so far. ok

The difference is that Arsenal aren't dropping too many points against the Wigans, Blackburns etc this year, which makes the top 4 h2h very important. Imo, it's a 2 horse race now.

I think so also. This weekend really has put to much distance between the top 2 and the other 2. Chelsea already had problems with Drogba and the acn. And Liverpool were just not good enough. But a few wins either way and it could all change again, but it's a 2 horse race for my money also.

I also agree, this is why i wanted a Chelsea win today because i think they will end up droping points during xmas/jan/acn.

Still think it's a 4 1/2 horse race at the moment. Success/failure in the CL (meaning more/less matches) could seriously affect the titlerace.

    Chelsea's record is phenomenal.

Might I just add that at home, we've taken 9 points off the big 4 (beaten 3 of them)

Won't dwell on our away record.

Bar this season and the back end of the last one, we're normally pretty good in these sorts of clashes.
