    Current form and positions only. Not reputation or anything else. That's why I left out Italy because many positions are affected by the points deductions.

    Its has to be on current form since its the current tables

    Spain:
    Barcelona>Man Utd
    Real Madrid<Chelsea
    Sevilla=Arsenal
    Atlético>Portsmouth
    Zaragoza=Liverpool
    Recreativo=Reading
    Getafe>Everton
    Villarreal>Aston Villa
    Valencia>Bolton
    Celta=Tottenham
    Deportivo>Wigan
    Mallorca>Man City
    Espanyol>Fulham
    Racing=Newcastle
    Levante>Middlesbrough
    Betis>Sheff Utd
    Athletic=West Ham
    R. Sociedad>Charlton
    Nástic>Watford

    Man that seems bias.

    I highly doubt many of us get to see the lower spanish teams to often so there will no doubt be a lot of bias in these picks so its probably best just to count the people who really know both the leagues inside out.

    I can't split some of them, however the rest -

    Barcelona over Man United.
    Chelsea over Real Madrid
    Sevilla over Arsenal (on current form)
    A Madrid over Pompey
    Liverpool over Zaragoza
    Villarreal over Reading
    Valencia over Everton
    Spurs over Celta
    Deportivo over Wigan
    Blackburn over Racing
    Betis over Sheffield United

    Doing on current form kind of is pointless, form can change very quickly. Sevilla are a very good team, But i think Arsenal would beat them.

    I doubt many people here get to see teams playing in the lower half of La Liga so any comparisons here are of personal opinions and for the purpose to prove that EPL>La Liga or vice versa.
