The Worst Managers of the Season so far?

In France it must be Le Guen, failed to get a single home win thus far in the league

In Spain, Koeman is doing quite well to win this title even though he hasn't been here v long.

In Germany, Doll must be close to the top, although Hitzfeld is running him close at the moment.

England imho Lawrie "dickhead" Sanchez

No disagreements there. All my choices.

Aandewiel for Sparta is the winner, no doubt.

I think we can just award this one to Mclaren, if you wanna consider international managers!!

Aandewiel --> only manager who hadn't won a match by November and was sacked after 11-11-07. With a squad capable of finishing 12/13.

Lawrie has at least been a bit unfortunate with injuries to key players.

Koeman has been the worst out of the club managers, but overall, McLaren by a mile. He was worse than Graham Taylor, and he got turniped!

What a pillock

Le Guen wins for me. His failure at a club where he is loved is beguiling. Dropping seasoned internationalists for 17 year old boys, even promoting the promising Sakho to captain at 17 years old, tells us how stubborn and single minded Le Guen is!

He doesn’t tolerate nonsense, but it seems to backfire in his face. This illuminates the current dichotomy in football management: the apathy players feel towards progressive ideas and the prospect of hard work!

Ps Bought the book where he collaborated with Graham Speirs of The Times, one of the best journalists in the UK, to spill the beans on his troubles with the Rangers players and their dislike of him as a person and his coaching methods. Should be great!

Bit harsh on Hitzfeld there. While I'm not 100% happy with some things, I wouldn't say that gets him anywhere near "worst manager". Bayern have lost exactly 1 out of 28 matches during this half of the season. Things have been blown out of proportion as usual and if anybody is to blame for our bad patch it's the ones higher up.

Lawrie for me; his teams play ugly football and when that ugly football doesn't win he compiles DVDs to complain to Keith Hackett.

effenburg with the players at his disposal you should be well clear in the league but you aren't, too many 0-0s of late. its all relative imho not much is expected of eg bochum so people see the job done as so so but there is huge expectation with Bayern and hitzfeld is in danger of screwing up.

Koeman. Delivers f@ck all and treats club legends like $h!t. And we have to pay the c**t to go away. THere is no contest Koeman is the worst. Not only does he deliver Cr@p football without results, but then tries to give away some of our best players. The longer the hijo de puta stays the longer it will require to recover. He inherited a great squad and is trying to turn it to shite.

well yeah he has. the one we are using right now is quite fine and the only potential mistake could be not using guti instead of one the dutch ones. also he has had to use this time to experiment since he didnt even have his full squad until very late.
