(Fat) Ronaldo to Flamengo!!!!!!
I didn't see this mentioned anywhere so I thought I'd start a thread...but it's surprising news! He's only just got fit (apparently) and Milan already want rid. Obviously it means they're making space for Ronaldinho, but (no disrespect to Flamengo) it's a real blow to Ronaldo. His career at the very top is surely over. Let's see if he can at least do it in the Libertadores next year.

Get rid of Ronaldo...so they are left with an old Inzaghi and a Gilardino, who has 1 good game every 4.

They are $h!t though...even if they win all their games in hand they'd only be 6th...which is rather pathetic.

Unless Milan win the champions league, he'll be playing Uefa cup football at very best next season if he moves there, it's obscene and purely down to money

I wouldnt rule out a CL spot just yet. Ronaldinho could definatelyhelp them get it (similar to Ronaldo last season).

I agree with Luis. IF Ronaldinho think with his stupid head he will look for a club that needs him, that needs a creative midfield and a team that has chance to achieve great things this season. I still think he would be great at Inter. The physical training in Italy would be great for his form. Remember he isn’t injury phony like Ronaldo, he is just lazy.
But since is his bother that does the decisions and that c*unt only cares about money he will probably end in Chelsea.

Re: (Fat) Ronaldo to Flamengo!!!!!!
Why would he go to Milan?
Because Milan are European Champions. There's one reason. Also, Milan have played 3 finals in the last 5 years. There's another.
Milan will probably finish in the top 4. Just like last season, they will make a late surge.
We may be dire in the league right now, but we won the biggest prize in 2007--the European Cup.

Forza, he doesnt have a palce in the Milan midfield, you already have Kaka, Pirlo, Gatuso, Seedorf. who will you replace? You will finish in the top 4,remember that you still have 3 games behind. But I dont see how Ronaldinho would be good for you.

Inter and Roma will finish in the top four for sure...Juventus probably will...which leaves one space. Fiorentina are probably good enough to get it...Udinese have done before...Palermo are looking better.

I didn't want him when he was the best player in the world. Wonderful in attack, but can't defend. In the EPL we'd be ridiculously exposed. Now he doesn't seem capable of attacking either.

Fiorentina
Udinese don't show up when they need to. Palermo might lose important players in January; Bresciano, Barzagli, Amauri, Zaccardo.........

I think they see him as a replacement for Seedorf, in that Christmas tree formation they play.

either he would rotate (Milan have no real backup for Seedorf or Kaka) or he would play as a second striker

BTW about fatty and Flamengo, apparently Milan gave the green light for him to came to Brazil and now Flamengo and Nike are trying to found reasonable numbers for this transfer. The player seems to like the idea, since we will play the Libertadores in 2008.

No I think we have to move on, even if is with less talent players like Love or Luis Fabiano. Brazil biggest symbol always was the fact that we can replace old players and create new generations, it may take some time, but Ronaldo already achieve everything in the Seleção and he doesn’t have the ambition anymore. We better go with players that are hungru for success.
Speaks volume how great Pelé was, in the 1970 WC he already have achieved EVERY single title that he wanted in life and yet he was the player best physically prepared in that Brazil team, he trained 3 months for that competition and wanted that 3º WC like crazy. The man was pure ambition and hungry for success.

Re: (Fat) Ronaldo to Flamengo!!!!!!
There is alot more physical pressure on players these days. for example Ronaldo wouldnt be able to train and prepare for the WC in 3 months even if he wanted to because there are more games. i think ronaldo is still world class and the best striker in the world.i also think milan would be stupid to give up on him now when he is finally match fit.let him play some games and he will help this milan team greatly. also i think dinho would work well in milan in alongside kaka-ronaldo-dinho. he needs a new experience.juligen21 wrote:johan the baptist wrote:Reckon Ronaldo would now have a good chance getting back into Dunga's plans?

AC Milan reject Ronaldo rumours
AC Milan have denied reports that they have started negotiations to sell Ronaldo to Brazilian outfit Flamengo.
The club issued a statement after Flamengo vice president Kleber Leite told Italian media he had been given permission to speak to the player.
"AC Milan denies that it started a negotiation with Flamengo for the transfer of Ronaldo," said the club.
"It denies also having authorised the Brazilian team for an eventual deal with the soccer player."
Ronaldo signed for AC Milan in January 2007 from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
But the three-time world player of the year has struggled to impress Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti and has also suffered a series of injuries.
The 31-year-old has made just one appearance for the European champions this season.
"We have made contact with the player and we are certain he can launch his career again here," Leite told Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ronaldo is in Brazil receiving treatment for a shin injury, but Leite claimed it would not hinder the transfer.
The striker's contract finishes in June 2008, but Milan will be hoping to get back some of the £5m they paid Real for the striker's services.
Flamengo are keen to upstage their city rivals Sao Paulo, who secured a six-month loan for Inter Milan's Brazilian international Adriano last week.
