    Would you take Ronaldo?

Not Would you take Ronaldo? Ronaldo_thumb but Would you take Ronaldo? Ronaldo_mike ?

It seems like Real Madrid want to get rid of Ronald in the January transfer window, so would you want your club to sign, the 3 times FIFA World Player of the Year, Ronaldo?

Full name: Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima
Date of birth: September 22, 1976
Place of birth: Bento Ribeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
    Height: 1.83 m
Nickname: O Fenômeno - The Phenomenon
    Position: Striker

No thanks, we're fine for strikers at the moment and it would upset the applecart.

If we hadn't of signed Larsson though, I'd seriously would of considered it.

No thanks - We already have a good strikeforce to choose from in Henry, Baptista, Van Persie and Adebayor.

Its obvious he will end up back in Italy - Maybe with Juventus next year.

No. He's not mobile enough. He'd just be a fatter version of Crouch, stepovers and all.

United couldn't sign him - it would be the most confusing thing since Gary Stevens and Gary Stevens both playing for England in the 80s.

He's surprisingly fast, even when "bulked up".

For about 10 yards. Then he needs a breather for 20 minutes.

Actually, he's more like a fat Fowler than a fat Crouch. He'll do nothing for 85 minutes but you'll still get a goal.

I feel bad for him...he did work hard at the beginning of the season to get into shape, he lost a lot of weight (for him) and Capello was supposedly going to give him a run of 5 or 6 matches in the first eleven, but it never game. I think he maybe started one league game and one in Champions. At this point, Ronaldo really couldn't care less...hence the rumours of him being out partying and not training hard.

If he is in a place where he is happy and motivated, he is still the #1 striker in the world. Unfortunately, that place is not Madrid. I think we are better off with him than without him but at this point the working relationship between him and Capello is over. So maybe it is better for everyone to just move on.

    Er... Yes.

A True Legend of the game who can still turn a match on it's head. It's funny, despite doing his best Mr. Blobby impression during the World Cup, he still scored as many as the French Longstocking Diva. Ale

Ronaldo Could feel like he's in trim shape with Lampard around. Though like Sheva - the only decent sevice he'll get in the current untouchables team would be from:

Drogba, Essien & possibly Bridge & Geremi - but they're not even 1st choice fullbacks..

Ah come on... you're making it sound as if Flumpy-Dumpy doesn't pass (remember Sheva's goal against Sofia), the move against Macclesfield which set Sheva through etc. As often as Lamps may shoot, he does give Sheva more chances than people realise.

We're missing our most creative player in Joe Cole and just before his most recent injury, Arjen Robben was starting to produce an end product with his crosses.

    Bridge - Very underrated attacking-wise.
Drogba - I believe was in the top 3 for most assists in the EPL in the last 2 seasons.

The only reason I would take Ronaldo is because he is a proven goalscorer, and unlike Sheva, I don't think it would take him long to adapt.

(I do think Kalou will become a prolific goalscorer in time too).

has never put in work rate for us and that hasnt been the main problem.cappello is a coach that needs to have everyone working the hardest possible and ronaldo doesnt do that but he didnt do that before and he still managed to score alot of goals.also it has nothing to do with desire.he worked alot to get in shape but he has been igorned by cappello as jaime said.
