Ronaldo for Milan/Inter Empty Ronaldo for Milan/Inter

Post by bluenine Tue Aug 29, 2006 11:17 am

Milan allegedly gave up their attempt to net Ronaldo last week, after no compromise could be reached with Real Madrid regarding a fee.

President Ramon Calderon insisted that Milan midfielder Kaka be included in the deal, but the Rossoneri have long since stated that the player is not on sale.

Inter instead could propose a swap deal involving Adriano, but Calderon has apparently asked for an additional £7m.

    ----------------------------------

What is Calderon smokin?? Adriano plus £7M for that fat old bucktooth?? haha... even Moratti cannot be that stupid!!!!!!!!!

Why would we want a one footed, off form sod, who has a bigger ego than anyone?

After all we are your feeder club, we should be paid well.

Nobody ever said Pavon was the future...people have blown that whole phrase way out of proportion. The idea was always to that the squad would combine "the best players in the world" along with homegrown players. Hence, we sign players like Cannavaro, van Nistelrooy, and Diarra but we also bring a talented player from the B team like Javi Garcia into the first team. That's all.

Anyhow, Adriano is a far inferior footballer to Ronaldo. But I don't think Ronaldo wants to go to Inter anyhow -- you already have Crespo, Ibrahimovic, etc.

So he left Inter to win silverware, right?? What did he win?? While he missed out on a scudetto, 2 supercups, and 2 coppas! Serves him right!

I don't know about the scudetto....I know it is yours technically because Juve were disqualified but nobody will ever know exactly how it would have played out without the biased referees. It is possible that Juve could still have won it. Anyhow, he won the Spanish league with Real Madrid. And besides, Ronaldo left because of Cuper not because he didn't like Inter or whatever.

it would be great if inter got him instead of milan as you would limit milan alot.ronaldo is a great player and he would be great for both clubs.he is getting fit so look out. and if he has to go i rather want him to go to inter since milan said all that kaka shit.

Those were not the worst deals Inter ve done...

But looks like even Moratti isn't this stupid - from channel4:

    Adriano-Inter together again Tuesday 29 August, 2006

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter patron Massimo Moratti insists he’s focusing his hopes on Adriano this season and the Brazilian has responded in kind.

“I read so many things in the newspapers, but I’m thinking about Adriano,” assured Moratti after stories of Ronaldo’s potential return to San Siro.

“Adriano deserves all of our affection and faith in his abilities. We believe in this man and this player for the many battles Inter must undertake in the present and future.”

This week the rumours of L’Imperatore’s departure cranked up a few notches after he was spotted punching and kicking the bench when the Brazilian was substituted in the 4-3 Italian Super Cup victory over Roma.

There were even reports that Adriano would move to Real Madrid on loan in exchange for Ronaldo, but his comments this evening suggest a new relaxed atmosphere between player and club.

“Once again, Moratti and all of Inter have shown me their total confidence. I am thankful and really very happy,” said the striker.

“As I’ve already said many times before, I want to respond to that faith on the field with my performance so I can continue to win alongside Inter.”

A worse deal was Inter rejecting Franco Baresi and taking the brother (don't even know his name) letting Franco sign for Milan.

It's been well enough established by the parties concerned that the sturdy front runner is bound for Fratton Park. His agent was seen today in Gosport.

According to Ronaldo, Cuper wouldn't use him enough even tho he was "fit"...

I don't think so... Ronaldo was never rushed at Inter, just unfortunate... for 3 years, he hardly played any games.... when he finally made his first comeback, he went down with the same injury, and Inter kept waiting... the moment he got fit, had a great WC, he asked Moratti to sack Cuper coz Cuper wasn't playing him enuf!!! That was ridiculous.

too bad Ronaldo isn't going to Milan. IMO he could still be the best at hois position if he goes to Milan. I have a lot of confidence on their medical/physical staff (you know from the Milanlab). I mean they are specially good at preserving and getting very little phisical trouble with ageing players.

I was just joking mate...Milan have/had several ageing players like Serginho, Maldini, Cafu, Costacurta, Inzaghi, Stam and Rui Costa, they are(or were) almost always match fit.

I still don´t think that ronaldo would be a good choice for Milan or any top club, the guy doesn´t have any commitment to professional football.
