By the way Tweeds you seem to be moving to where I've just left!!

Ronaldo, Rio, Essien, Carvalho, Drogba and Cesc ok

Where exactly was it you lived, and how did you find it?

If Cesc can get in you'd have to include players like Gerrard, Alonso, Scholes, Rooney & Gallas.

So Arsenal aren't 'allowed' any world class players then? I say Utd have two but you still have to ridicule the one Arsenal player Rolling Eyes

You must really think it strange that we're above you in the league, when you believe that none of our players are world class.

And before you say that you think Gallas is, do you honestly think Gallas is better than Rioo and Carvalho?

He's on the same level yes.

I just don't think Cesc has any reason to be on a different level above Gerrard, Alonso and Scholes. Players that have been doing it for alot longer.

Gallas is top class, but I wouldn't say he's as good as Rio or Carvalho. He's the third best in the league though IMO.

Cesc is just easily our best and most important player. Our squad virtually collapsed when he wasn't fit, and personally, I do rate him higher than the other three.

By 2 points. Where were these WC players last season, they couldn't have become WC overnight.

I think spank despite himself hactually makes an important point here, one I'm trying to get at: "once you include these..."

I mean, for any watcher of the Bundesliga, VDV, Diego, Ribéry, Toni, Klose, Lahm, Frings, Mertesacker are certainly not on some kind of inferior level to those you've just mentioned. This MB may have got it right in focusing on Rio, Billy and Ricky – but you can't talk of Kolo, Vidic, Agger and the like as if they're substantially inferior.

Just some serious problems with this terminology in my book.

Tweeds, I was kind of Shepherd's Bush/Goldhawk Road Hammerschmidt and City line area, about as precise as I want to be on the internet...!

And I'm not so sure about "easily" – as awesome as Cesc's form has been until lately, there are cases to be made for RVP, Billy and indeed Hleb...

... the same kind of point at work I think. "This player is 'world-class', that player isn't" – so unnecessarily and misleadingly dogmatic.

Didn't you say that you'd left there?

That would make it tougher to hunt you down...

I'll be within 300m of Goldhawk Road tube station ok

    Wow.

It's a real shite part of the world though Tweedle! The area of our glorious stadium is I suppose comparable in terms of roughness etc but in terms of atmosphere, palces to go etc, no comparison...

The best thing about coming down from the North and going past the Emirates Stadium on the train is that you get totally normal men, women and kids who suddenly all start pointing out of the windows and making rude hand gestures as they go past it. I kid you not! Always cracks me up Biggrin <Ale>

Its not as shite as a lot of London to be honest. Its a nice semi detached Victorian place.

Also, its west of Goldhawk, towards Ravenscourt - so slightly nicer than 'east' of Goldhawk.

Kicker magazine published the ratings for strikers today and -tada- neither Klose nor Toni are world-class. Both are just international class together with Sanogo.

So Ribery is the only world-class player in the Bundesliga according to Kicker.
