I know there might be some terry bias but imo he is better then Carvalho. Also Dani Alves wouldn't make my top 3 as RB.

Essien is the best DM in the world but I put Pirlo because he does a lot more in offense.

Totti won the Golden Boot so he has to be up there.

Not based on last season, plus he was injured for large parts as well.

Can't agree on Pirlo either. He was poor in the CL semi finals and not that much better in the final either. Maybe he's doing great in Seria A but judging by their league seasons I highly doubt it.

Parks, about Terry I admit it's more on fame then last year.

About Pirlo ask anyone who follows Milan or Serie A and they will tell you Pirlo is the most important player in the team after Kaka. He sets the whole game for Milan.

This season i think Pirlo and Nesta have been their best players from what i have seen. allthough i will say that im not as impressed with him as i was 4 years ago.

Sorry but spanky is right and I say this as a season ticket holder (well I share one with a mate) for milan, last season pirlo was not very good(actually ever since the world cup), although he's got better this season (and milan didn't really do much in the league in either season). He is a favourite though and wouldn't be dropped, and there isn't really anyone to play his position so they'd have to change the whole team around.

Players better than him include seedorf, but he never gets the recognition he deserves, especially from milan fans. Anyway pirlo should definitely not be in any team of the year, unless it is based on biggest world cup hangovers.

I don't see how that's relevant. I watched 90% of Milan games (bar the games Steaua played at the same time). Pirlo is very important for Milan and it's a key player. You may not see him in a game but he has something like 95% good passes and plays the most balls in a game.

Evra have been perhaps our best player then Rio Ronaldo hasnt been better then Rio , none bar perhaps Evra has been better then Rio for us , just ask Liverpool.

Well not really. If Rooney didn't play all season and we'd done poorly it wouldn't make him player of the season would it.

Rio and Evra have been excellent in virtually every game.

Wouldn't say he's the most underrated, but he is possibly the best. Can have moments of rashness (see the challenge on Agbonlahor for example), although they are few and far between and it's something I don't think anyone will ever change about him.
