Nah, R. Eferee is a separate player...he's been historically a great player for their club, but currently is not that important to their season.

Jaime, maybe you recognise L. Uck by his (it's?) full name - Good L. Uck

True - L. Uck is completely different than R. Eferee. R. Eferee is more closely related to V. Illar.

1 Huuuyyy!!! - Sevilla need to scored to stand any chance of progessing and Chevantón was inches away from connecting with Dani Alves' corss after just 15 seconds.

    Doh

26' Chevantón goes off for treatment after spending a couple of minutes on the floor after being caught on his shoulder by Iniesta. The home fans whistle his return as he jogs back on.

It looked like he wasted a good opportunity. He just didn't seem to anticipate Puyol (I think) missing his header. If he had read the situation better it would have been a great chance to score.

I can't believe we're still drawing 0-0. I have to say that this is the best I've seen us play in a long time. The players really look like they care about the Copa for a change.

Special credit to Drenthe. The man looks like he's on a mission tonight. He really deserves a chance in the league after this performance, especially since Mr. Glass keeps getting injured every 2 weeks.

The only player who looks off the pace is Saviola. Seriously, this guy's an embarassment. After missing a sitter from 5 meters last time he's missed at least 3 this game. The only consolation for us should be that Barcelona paid a ridiculous price tag for him Cool

He's playing where he should have been playing all along - the left wing. He's ripped through the Mallorca defense numerous times tonight. Some great skill from the little Dutchman. Hopefully Schuster will reward him the same way he rewarded Baptista by giving him more minutes in the league. Drenthe's obviously got the problem of having Robinho ahead of him but I really wouldn't mind if Robben gets less minutes in favor of Drenthe.

That's how he played at the U-21 as well. Left midfield with the space to go forward. He is $h!t in defending as you well know allready.

Still think it was way too early to move to a team like Madrid for him.

that was incredible. that is the best match we have played at home in prob the last 2 years. we should have won but on the other hand when we miss as many chances as we did today it is ok because at least i know we we went on because of us not taking chances and not because we werent good enough. higuain/drenthe/gago/guti all had good games. like i always say if we have to go out i would prefer to go out early because that way we dont have to go through that horrific amount of games in the coming months.the downside for me is that i wont get to see the reserves get a chance and it helps keep the squad fit. guti/drenthe/higuain/balboa/robben really could have used these games to prove they should play.

Before the match I was more than half expecting for us to go out due to running out of luck by now (and the ref being C*ntalejo), but after seeing the first half performance I thought otherwise. In the end, we ended up going out as I first expected. I hope this is not the beginning of decline like the season we had now the second most successful first half.

Drenthe played well enough though he often lose the concentration. The substitution of Robinho should have been for Dorenthe, IMO, as Higuain was more likely to score than Drenthe, and addition of Robinho would have created as much if not more chances. Marcelo was not very good though not as bad as the last game. The most disappointing of all was obviously Saviola. Guti was very inconsistent even in one game.

The combination of Moya's form and Manzano's mind game won Mallorca the place in 1/4 final.

Sad to see us out yet again, only consolation to me is to see the face of Calderon and Mijatovic.

I especially agree with the latter part. That's the only reason why I care that we went out of the Copa so early since those players could have used minutes to prove themselves. Even Dudek was playing well. But in the end, the fact that we'll miss out on 5 potential games will be a big boost for the league. Players like Robinho, Ramos, and Cannavaro were getting too many minutes in the Copa for my liking.

That being said, I think Schuster made some stupid substitutions last night. There is no reason why Drenthe and Higuain had to go out since they were both playing very well, especially Drenthe. I think Schuster should have been more adventurous and taken out Salgado or Gago to go all out attack. Mallorca barely got a sniff on goal all game anyway. There was also no reason for Sneijder to go into the game. It was obvious he wasn't going to do anything.
