Very satisfying indeed. Pity we didn't go on and get a 4th goal (well I suppose we did but the linesman ruled it out). The only player I'm disappointed in tonight is Drogba - incredibly selfish and lazy performance from him tonight.

Haven't seen the match. How far was Drogba's poor peformance because of Lamps & Ballack both playing? 4-3-3 with 1 DMF is very tough for the striker. (if you play with 2 DMfs, you ACM will play closer to him)

He was just very lazy tonight. Tried a few tricks and turns that never looked like coming off and hit a Jonny Wilkinsonesque conversion when Essien was the much better option.
Did anyone see the Makelele chance? Is he trying to score another wonder goal before he retires?

Just back from London Ballack was superb and showed why he should play nearly every game. Was good for Carlo to have to make some saves towards the end to keep him sharp.
