Sure, but this isn't an issue of personal preference. It's an issue of different tactics and styles of play that can be objectively (pretty much) identified.

Where have I said that? I don't even think Gallas is that quick anymore, he easily gets outpaced by Rooney, Anelka and even Keane Shocked. I like gallas and King because they read the gae exellently and cover the partners well. There's no such thing as a pace-merchant at CB. Players who are just fast will get found out, just look at Eboue at crosses/diagnal balls or Richards who insn't that good positionally. Anyway, what I have said is that Rio is the best defender in the league and Carvalho is the best ball playing CB. Also I don't respect Carvalho as a defender because he fouls too much and cheats a lot.

Fouls too much and cheats a lot. Could you provide an example within the last year or so of him 'cheating'? I certainly can't think of one off the top of my head.

CBs who are fast will generally be able to cover up their mistakes because they can make recovery tackles. The number of times Gallas got beat but won the ball back purely because of his pace at Chelsea was incredible.

    No. Question.

But even Man U are behind Spurs, obviously.

that's the biggest load of Cr@p that is widely believed on this board. Manu only have one way of playing: gung ho all the way!

See how average they look when they try to play controlled/possession game.

We can play possession footy, sit back and counter( though not as good as we used to), or play route one football( as everton and others can tell u).

People just keep repeating things that were true about us say 3-4 seasons ago, but we are a completely different now. We have the 3rd highest headed goals in the league, that should tell u something.

I thought you weren't responding to my posts anymore?

only if u continue acting like a 5 year old.

Agooner, you're the kid who goes to a party at someone else's house, plays a game he's not good at after bragging that he'll beat everyone, losing it badly and then getting pissed off and upset and having to call his mum to come pick him up and take him home, only to deny the whole thing when he goes back to school on monday morning.

I insulted you sixteen times in that particular metaphor. See if you can spot them all.
