...We all know the media would have you believe its Arsenal and they are capable of top stuff. However, is it still consistently the best football?

They goals have severly dried up, they have a capability to over pass and they don't counter attack like they have done in previous years. Its also hardly exciting to see a team getting completely over powered at times as well.

So being neutral (asking for a miracle here) who plays the most exciting stuff?

2. Arse-n-all - they play quick passing foot...sometimes

The Chavski play some of the WORSE football i have ever watched - how can thier fans accept such baf football i know not! Doh

At this moment? I say Manchester United. Arsenal have been less attractive with that 4-5-1 system. Can only excite when RVP plays these days.

This season Man Utd have played (in my opinion) the better and more exciting football, but I must admit I don't follow the EPL too much..

When both play to their potential it is equally amazing to watch the movement and pace with which their attacks develop, although each has slightly different styles.

Still, when Arsenal do get it right, I have to go with them.

That's rubbish in my opinion. Plenty of teams who play 4-5-1 are capable of playing very attractive football. It's all about the personnel and style of football you deploy whilst coupled with it.

Barca is effectively a modfied 4-5-1/4-3-3, after all. Madrid during the peak years of the galactico era was 4-2-3-1, again, modified 4-5-1.

4-5-1 doesn't automatically mean that it's 10 men behind the ball, defending for 85 minutes.

When they're in full flow though, it's really interesting to watch the two wingers, 2 strikers, and Gerrard move in unison towards the opposition goal. Has a lot of purpose and thrust about it, and you feel they'll score with every attack...but it hasn't happened consistently this season.

No, the REDBLOODS do as per usual play the most exciting, exhilaring and beatiful flowing football in EUROPE - let alone EPL (excepting the odd hick-up!)

Arsenal played some beautiful football a few years back, but havn't really managed to quite meet those standards recently, Man Utd currently are the more exciting attacking team in my opinion out of the two.

Recent failed attempts at 4-3-3, 4-5-1, etc. weren't too impressive...Man. Utd. are a 4-4-2 team (at least under Ferguson), and any attempt to change that is a mistake.

We were doing alright with 4-3-3 for one season, in 2003 when we had Veron next to Keane, Ole and Giggs on the wings running riot, Ruud banging them in and Scholes at the hub of every thing.

However it all went to pot after that, with Keane ageing, Fletcher inconsistent, Ronaldo frustrating and Ruud slowing down.

Going back to 4-4-2 with Carrick and Saha in the side has really liberated things (helps with the form of Ronaldo and Giggs as well).

More importantly, Ferguson is most comfortable with it and finds it easier to make tactical changes during a game if things aren't going well, or defensive changes are needed.

Look Le'Arse are always a 2nd to the beauty of the Redbloods football...end of.

On current form you cannot deny that Man Utd have played top stuff.

We have been too patchy this season, but have still played some brilliant stuff at times. Hopefully once Rosicky and Henry both get back to fitness we can start to reproduce what we have done for the past five years.

To a degree you were in transition last season but not much I am afraid. The transition mainly happened because Keane left and left a huge void in the middle of the park as well as that you lost his leadership qualities.

Ruud was still a regular up until the Carling Cup Final.

True, Ronaldo and Rooney are developing. But they were already at a high standard. Both scored a lot of goals last season as well as an assists. Playing van Persie ahead of Bergkamp, a 18 year old instead of Vieira, Senderos for Campbell and using an untried Djourou is more like transition.
