They run a season-long feature based on post-matchday votes from visitors to their website...usually it pans out roughly in line with the league table. But I have to ask, have a group of Sunderland or Man. Utd. fans been hacking the poll this season? How else can Roy Keane in 2nd place be explained Shocked

One Arsene Wenger, there's only one Arsene Wenger!

Van Persie should be Player of the Month. Closely followed by Toure. ok

4 wins in their last 7 league games now. Granted they have all been at home but It's looking like they will beat the drop.

Was talking about Sunderland in that Newcastle relegation thread...I think they'll beat it easily, certainly have more quality than the other teams down there IMO.

<Ale> Still a bit to go, however considering the flak he gets for siging percieved average players (even I've laughed at some of them) he must be doing something to get them playing well and winning.

I'd love it if they finished above Newcastle. Very Happy

Well he has given has 7.5 m for Richardson,Bardsley(2m for Bardsley is a decent price though) , 1 m for Miller last season.
Long he may continue his venture.
    Got a decentish team now
    Gordon
    Bardsley------Evans--------Nosworth-------Collins

    --------------Miller---------Reid--------------

    ---Edwards-------Richardson-------------Murphy

    --------------------Jones------------------

Can improve though and alot that is , LB can be improved so can be CB(as Evans is on loan).Edwards have been injured all season and Murphy can be improved as well while Richardson/Reid can play that role while they can get a better midfielder then Whitehead/Yorke/Etuhu.

I can see them trying to sign Evans in the summer. Probably the only club who will give us a good fee as they've seen how good he can make their defence. Maybe £3 million plus.

There talking about him getting another contract. scratch

Plus Evans would be behind Pique as well.

Evans 3 mill? Sunderland has kept 1 clean sheet i think before he went back there. Now it's 4 or 5. They want him they should pay 6 mill at least, and they would pay it!

He should really go hes not better then Pique Evans as a CB and it would be better for us to buy a RB and trust Simpson.

Some of the fornicating over Sunderland on this board since yesterday is sickening and embarrassing. They were totally outplayed by Wigan and were on the back foot for the whole game, as they are in most games, yet they got jammy. They are shithouse and lucky, yes lucky, that Keane signed Kenwyne Jones - the man that will keep them up. Roy threw a truckload of turds at a wall and one of them really stuck. Well done Roy. <Ale>
