El Clasico 1953 Real vs Barcelona - a historical question

How many goals did Alfredo di Stefano score in his debut against Blaugrana? Different sources provide contradictory information i.e 2, 3, or 4. What's the truth?

He scored twice in the 5-0 win at home.

1. The article translated from La Vanguardia stated that he scored three goals.

I think we should go back and nullify that match, for clearly conflicting records which were no doubt manipulated by Franco's men.

Well, obviously it was before my time so I've read quite a bit. I have a good memory for that sort of thing...but stuff like my sister's birthday, not so much.

Haha I'm the opposite - birthdays and names, no problem...but stats/financial figures/percentages/goal records/match scores, etc...I'm hopeless.

It also helps that Di Stefano's first match was particularly well-documented after the controversy surrounding the transfer and the fact that it ended 5-0. If you ask me how many he scored against Barcelona in 1959, I couldn't tell you. But if I look it up now, then I would remember.
