Fucking Birmingham, hope the bastards go down. They've been a real thorn in our side this season. I just can't believe Clichy did that. I still don't think it was a penalty, but the way things were going for us today the ref was always going to give it. Lead is down to three points then.

Was a expecting a draw before the game but very gutted now coz we were so close. Still expect the mancs to get not more than a point vs newcastle. C'MON N'CASTLE!

Its hardly like the ref was on Brum's side. Could of easily blown for a foul on Taylor for you equaliser.

Started attacking the advertising boardings near the touchline. Should of been booked.

Not the ref, but we just couldn't take our chances, Taylor made a couple of great saves, losing Eduardo, and it was always a game we looked like throwing away against a $h!t side.

clichy . Oh well its still one point and it seems the players have got their rythm and more importantly their hunger back. If we lost today or even drew with a wimper the players would be down. But the late draw is as good as a win in terms of menality. If only it was points wise aswell .

I'm fucking gutted.
After all those chances missed by Ade, Hleb and the rest you just knew something was going to happen. Birmingham didn't look like scoring at all in the second half so it wasn't that bad, but Gael through away a couple of points away with some careless play. It wasn't a penalty at all, he clearly got the ball, you just knew it was going to be given though after all that had happened today and Brum being at home.
Word on Eduardo is that he hasn't broken his ankle, instead it's the lower part of the leg. He'll miss Euro 2008 after pretty much carrying Croatia on his back 2/3 of the qualifying phase.

Gallas walked off to the other half while B'ham were preparing to take the penalty. After they scored, he attempted to run and kick the advertising hoardings, but was held back by the 4th official. In the end he just sat down on the grass as if they'd lost a final (which it could well be equivalent to).
@Parks: He did get a yellow.

how is drawing a game you were winning in the 90th minute good in terms of mentality?

Arsenal were not that great though...yes, I am going as far as saying a draw is fair, simply because Arsenal were so off. Poor passing, not enough energy, and the usual problem of one too many square passes on the edge of the box.

Gallas can be an utter disgrace at times. Last saturday and today has proved this. We missed some guilt edged chances to put the game beyond doubt, this is why we lost. Adebayor and Bendtner don't convince me as a partnership, it looks like they only play for themselves.
I hope Eduardo can fully recover over the next 12 months.

The players know they have to be efficient, they never "lost" the points because of the opposition but purely their own fault so they must improve themselves instead of getting slack. This team has a different menality to previous seasons. They seem ready to blame them selves and focus on their own performances.Graeme Murty? wrote:shazlx wrote:clichy . Never a penalty, the ref's a Manc. He was determined Arsenal didn't leave with all three points. Having said that Arsenal should only blame themselves for not putting the game away. There's nothing you can do about the ref, kill the opposition!
The fucko who injured Eduardo must sit out all the time Eduardo remains injured. WTF is he showing studs like that? Fucking IMBECILE! Then he says to the ref, 'I went for the ball'.
I see that Rafa once again puts Mascherano and Lucas right down the middle of his midfield. About fucking time he realized Gerrard is nothing but a nuisance there prohibiting Liverpool from mounting a real challenge to win the league. Monster game from Gerrard coming up. Come on El Capitán Rojo!

I don't think he did anything particularly bad...it was just his gut reaction to a huge disappointment. The attempt to kick the hoardings was a bit over the top, but it's better off than trying to kick a B'ham player at the restart.

I'm pretty sure Gallas shed a tear while he was sitting on the ground.
After I had that long winded argument with Saints about how good Clichy is he has a terrible performance against Man City making a huge mistake that cost us a goal and now this..........
