He has already signed for Palermo for next season - although there are rumours he has signed pre-contract agreements with them and Parma.

Naughty boy

Borowski, Kehl, Govou, Mandana, Ibagaza, Mellberg, Crespo...those are some names that are going to be really in-demand.

I don't think Lampard is available on a free, he has one year left.

Tim Borowski has a pre-contract agreement with Bayern Munich.

I can't believe that Lyon haven't extended Sidney Govou's deal yet.

Van der Sar has renewed his current contract.

Butt signed a 1 year extension while Fat Boy was still here, hopefully we can still get rid of him though.

We pretty much $h!t on Mendieta this season. Was a bit harsh. He's never done anything wrong since he got here..just been $h!t for a year or so. Shame he couldnt have left before the season started and got some games elsewhere. Instead he stayed here...didnt get given a squad number..got told he would play no part at all. Dont think he even plays in the reserves. Still trains hard though apparently. Good example to the kids at least.

oh and for Villa, Laursen's signed a new contract. Mellberg's signed with Juve, and Carson's not a free transfer - he goes back to Pool

Ronald Koeman ought to be available on a free, but if not David Albelda, Miguel Angel Angullo and Santi Canizares ought to be given free transfers after the way they have been treated.

Canizares I thought would be retiring?

He has talked of retirement, but I thinkthat is mainly due to current position. He might play another season or two to give the finger to Soler and Koeman.

Looking at the list of Serie A players, those three would be decent signings for most clubs.

You know each year the clubs tries to get rid off him. He costs a lot. I think he's the second or the best paid player at the club.

That's a lot of players Werder is letting go...any particular reason?

I can't believe the amount of quality Fiorentina are willing to give away for free. Ujfalusi, Jorgensen, Vieri and Liverani are all good enough for Champions League football.

Flamini hasn't signed a new contract yet Looking at his performances this season, I say Wenger please do whatever it takes to make him stay.

Cordoba would be a great addition for any team looking for a central defender.
