Perhaps. Koeman will still uphold his exile. But whether or not the next president backs Koeman or not, is questionable to say the least. But another president might allow Albelda to leave.

This means Koeman will leave at the end of the season, a shame because he track records shows that he is a good coach, he just came in at the wrong time.

Lets hope Valencia don't go the way of depor and atletico, i like the club and it would be good for la liga if their was an well established 3rd club.

No he should come to barca but he we don't need him, nor do Man U, valencia would be a good place for him to continue his development.

His track record is just statistics, because he inherited decent squads : he did a decent job at Vitesse and then made his team play awful at both Ajax and PSV...

Don't even get me started on his transfer decisions.

I think the Dutchies rate him about as high as the Valencia fans do Wink

Ypou can sign them for your fantasy team, but that's it! Villa's buy-out is about €100m. We don't have to sell for a penny less whether he wants to go or not. You can have Koeman though! <Ale>

As Axe said, he inherited decent squads. Koeman should have stayed at PSV. He has no loyalty or honour. Deserves to get fired. My posts will become less and less coherent from now on for the rest of the evening as I'm going to get rat-arsed to celebrate the wonderful news. We'll back next year, so hands off our squad you vultures!

    Congrats EMP
now one more to go in Koeman and that would make your day. i actually think Koeman will come good if he is givin time. they have some good players all over now. only at lb does valencia need a new player imo and then maybe some for the squad. he has finally solved one of the problems valencia have had for a long time which is that the centrel midfield has been too uncreative and that has always led to valencia being bad at home. now they have maduro/banega/sunny who are better equiped for handling that. if Koeman can unify the squad they will be challening next year imo.

Except Maduro has looked very ordinary. Not sure if Valencia suit the 4-3-3. They are really a side geared towards traditional wing-play. Or do you disagree?

Not at all but the problem for valencia esp during the benitez years and also under Quique was that the wing play was good but when they were cut down the double pivot first Baraja-Albelda and since Marchena-Albelda were too uncreative to take over and do something. this is why they often had trouble at home where the wings were crowded. now they have players that can pass their way out of trouble more. sadly it has come a bit late but still think they should rely on their wingers which are still of high quality esp if they can get vicente back to his old level. Koeman just has to get the squad united under him and that is the big problem for valencia imo. they just need some quiet time to get something settled so i wouldnt fire Koeman.

Nah. Koeman must piss off with immediate effect. Don't see how he can stay without Soler. He is tainted. The first part of my plan has been achieved. Now we need rid of Koeman and then Soler must buy Levante, pay their players who are then inspired to stay in La Liga. Koeman is then hired by Accrington Stanley, bt rapidly fired because he is not up to the task. <Ale> <Ale> <Ale> <Ale> <Ale> Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly Bubbly
