btw why oh why does Rijkaard insist on playing Eto'o on the right?? If he wants both Bojan and Eto'o, then drop Henry down as left wing and play 4-4-2. Or better yet, drop Henry all together and let Sylvinho play left midfield.

One could see however that Barca are out of form atm, only very few chances, your defence is shaky at times and at the end you even looked a bit like a chickens stack.

Anyway, it´s still a joy to watch you playing.

we couldn't keep the ball at all, there was no grit in the second half, just a bunch of sheep with Henry the worst offender. Ronaldinho has more heart than him. And why doesn't Rijkaard make some sensible changes? Sylvinho has proven he should play. Gudjohnsen should have been on for Henry a long time before to offer a bit more bite and presence in midfield so Iniesta could move up.

and what a stupid way for Puyol to get booked at the end. What if he misses one of the semifinals because of that?

Doesn't the away goal mean Schalke are likely to attack Barca. It was only when they went for Barca that they were the better team.

As for Etoo on the right, well, he'll probably be more effective there than Giovani, despite Samu's own poor form.

El Salvador (pundit on Dutch tv) says playing Eto'o from the right makes sense, because he and Henry need an extra meter of space (to get the best out of them). Bojan needs no space. Makes sense.

And it is only cos of your form this season that a lot of fuss is made of it. I remember Eto'o playing there too when Larsson was at the club. Larsson was tried at the right several times but I think Rijkaard later realised maybe it was better to play Eto'o there instead. Didn't we see something like 3 assits from Eto'o to Larsson that season from the right? Nobody said a word then.

I'm off to visit my mother in hospital. Will only watch highlights of the game at 11 p.m. Hope the guys won't break my heart again.

Tell you what, I don't like this start *at all*....very often with this Barça I can get a good feel of the team in the first 10-15 mins, but not getting any positive feelings so far
