Yeah, forgot about that. You guys still look safe with the CL spot. Still the game against Milan will be big, as losing it will put your CL spot in some danger. A loss for Milan would seriously endanger their chances of CL football next season.

Hmmm... I am hoping for a draw Razz

    A comparison of Inter strikers...

    StrikerMinutesGoalsMinutes/Goal
    1Balotelli5125102
    2Cruz206815138
    3Ibra279420140
    4Suazo14718184
    5Crespo14887213

I know its very early days yet, but Balotelli has been really impressive. With him in the squad, we don't really need Suazo next season. Or Adriano.

I would still want a replacement for Crespo... preferably Amauri.

For the CL? Afraid so, its too much of an ask for Doria. Just look at your last 5 fixtures - Udinese, Fiorentina, Roma, Palermo, Juve!!! UEFA Cup, you guys should surely make it.

Impressive run tho. Doria are looking good. Hope you take some points off Roma and Juve.

Inter may want to give Suazo another season, he hasn't reallly done much wrong this season as a 4th striker.

But you (or anyone else) are welcome to Adriano (I hope). I hope his form for Sao Paolo does not mislead Inter into getting him back for next season - we don't have space for a striker like that, specially one with issues. we just need a young replacement for the aging Cruz/Crespo, and adriano is not that kinda player.

Really? I was told here in this board that he is not a striker, but second forward, if so he indeed would be great, but I hope he goes to Milan, that ship is sinking.

Yup Adriano is hard to work with which is why I stated a loan. Someone like Suazo is a good proffesional which is why i'd like to sign him. Like Cruz, Suazo is being wasted on the bench at Inter. Power, pace, finishing, good control.

I agree, but all three of these are "support" strikers and we will need a target man to replace Crespo/Cruz. I really like the Drogba rumours - as long as it does not come as a package deal with Mourinho. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind Amauri, who can easily play as a target man with the ability to hold the ball.

We should sell Crespo, Cruz and Adriano, and get Drogba/Amauri.

But I really doubt that this would happen. Most likely we will keep hold of Cruz (which I don't mind) and get in Adriano (which I really don't want as it would mean loaning out Balotelli).

Nah... they may be big enuf, but they are better as support strikers. I can see why Mancio always has one of Cruz/Crespo start every game... you need a guy who would be at the right place to finish all the moves. Ibra is best suited to create them and hence has to play withdrawn, and Suazo likes to roam up and down a lot and is usually not at the right place for a finisher.

We have Ibrahimovic, Crespo, Cruz, Suazo, & Balotelli. Thats just 5, the right size. And with Adriano out on loan and Acquafresca out on a co-ownership deal. So 7.

For your team strategy it is probabaly better to have a well defined target and ss. For us, someone like Suazo would be perfect. Strong enough to hold the ball, mobile enough to work the channels and rotate with the other front 3.

True. But I think Mancio will start experimenting more and more with a 3 man attack... he has already started using Suazo and Balotelli as wingers. So I wouldn't be surprised if we started next season with 5 strikers.

But one of Crespo/Cruz has to go. We can't have so many aging strikers.
