I wasn't disagreeing with the sending off. Mascherano EARNED his second yellow and the eventual red card. Mascherano was really pissed off for his first yellow (highly questionable to say the least, strong challenge but FAIR, NO STUDS!), and I understood his reasoning. Bennet was doing his part to condition the game for the Mancs' win. What's best for the league? The Mancs winning the league or Arsenal winning the league? The league went global a while ago, but you see how some people hate Arsenal just because Wenger fields the best players irrespective of nationalities.

Don't talk rubbish puro. He missed the last 2 games (where we went from the point of virtual certainty of qualifying - having done all the hard work in the previous 5 games - to elimination). One man can't be held responsible for an entire team's performance (not even the captain). If they could, you could reverse this and call Rooney a genius for United's comeback this season after a shaky start (when Rooney was injured and suspended) or Terry and Lamps for being the spine of a team winning back-to-back Prems, Gerrard and Carragher winning the Champions League etc.
