I hate to admit it, but in Europe I probably care more about certain teams losing, than I do other teams winning.

Also, I'm a bit like Debaser in that my no.1 club is actually a league 2 side and Arsenal are my 'premiership club'.

Obviously I'll care greatly if we go out, but I worry that Wenger would see success here as a sign that the squad doesn't need improving. IMO it does though, and I think a loss can also have its positives.

Fair enough, I'd love to watch the chavs v the Turks too, despite the general football overload. I'm just a bit stressed and nervous about tonight so gonna react like that – I've got more fanatical over the past couple of years and Tweedle I imagine less, so it's all cool...

Might be easier to have a "most successful English and German teams" policy to fall back on I admit Razz

I live right by the stadium and have probably lived through the emotions of this season more deeply than any other yet for me, so you'll understand if I take a different view... (and besides, though purchases will be necessary, I don't want us to be like certain other clubs and simply buy in ready-made stars at huge expense). Who's t'other lucky club Tweedmeister?

    Stockport ok

Got a genuine chance of promotion this season too. We're currently lying fourth.
