The Ronaldinho Tracker thread
Post all rumours/developments related to his almost certain transfer out of Barça this year. Apart from the usual names of the two Milan clubs and Chelsea, here comes a minor surprise...see last line of this article:

Re: The Ronaldinho Tracker thread
I'd take a gamble on him for £12
Seriously though, Milan will most likely win the race for his signature if he is available, Berlusconi has had said to my belief a number of times that he has an agreement with Barcelona that they would be informed when he was available (but the way he said it gave the impression they had first refusal)

They may be forced into meeting other priorities in the squad first. Nike will also have a big say, which gives Inter a chance.

Since 2003 which player has had the biggest impact at Barcelona?
Is it Ronaldinho or maybe Eto'o who was signed a year later?

Not sure if that's true...recently there was that ad of him kicking the ball into a basketball hoop.

Everyone is jealous of the football Bayern are currently playing. If only we could learn how to play beautiful football and draw at home to Getafe.

Re: The Ronaldinho Tracker thread
Thats actually true. While I don't think we need Dinho, Mancio and Moratti are fans... and we have a score to settle with Milan on the bucktooth saga. Moratti might just use the Nike card here, and get Dinho as a Figo replacement. More to piss off Berlu than anything elsekas wrote:They may be forced into meeting other priorities in the squad first. But even if Dinho goes to Milan, I have no fear.... he is not the kind of player Milan needs, and Milan need quite a few players. So this should only add to the chaos.

If Berlu wants his man, he will get him. I don't think Moratti can compete with him. No offence, but Moratti is kind of an imbecile. Berlu is a lot of things (a crook, an opponent of free speech etc.), but he is not an imbecile.

Honestly, it was Suazo who swung that. It wasn't as if our season depended on it. If Berlu wants Ronaldinho, he will get him. The man most certainly will not lose out to Moratti.

Re: The Ronaldinho Tracker thread
No, thats incorrect. Coz Berlu is a businessman first, and he will only pay what he thinks is a reasonable price for Dinho. Moratti is a football nutter first, businessman next - like many people who are born to riches. If Moratti wants his man, he will pay way above what is the reasonable market price. Moratti has broken the world record transfer fee twice in the last 10 years, and so many times payed far above the market price.Forza Italia!Forza Milan! wrote:bluenine wrote:Ahem... If both Berlu and Moratti want the same player very badly, Moratti is much more likely to get his man.

You'd be happy with that? We should be getting much more, the buying club will easily recover that amount through image rights and endorsements. Best bet is probably to trigger a bidding war between the two Milan clubs, as we see in the posts just above this one

Re: The Ronaldinho Tracker thread
Oops - meant to post my response about Ronny in this thread, rather than the Barca thread.
I think it would be foolish of any manager of a top club aspiring to win competitions to take Ronaldinho. Look at the guy: he's lost his competitive edge.
A second-tier team should take him, however. But if I was the manager of the following clubs I wouldn't touch him with a barge poll.
Man Utd
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Milan
Inter
Real Madrid

Would truly be surprised if this happened. No rational person is going to pay an exorbitant price for a player who has been poor and out of shape for the last two years.

Nobody will pay more and we can't sell players so 20M is quite a lot. It's more than what I expect!
