Could Valencia be relegated?

Being 6 points ahead with 7 games to go, they should stay up. Maybe Zaragoza could catch them, but they have too many problems at the moment.

It's interesting to note though that if Koeman had been coach since August and kept the same points ratio, Valencia would be second last right now

Soler has given Valenica's technical director permission to negotiate with Unai Emery to take charge next season. Let's hope it's not from Segunda.

What do you make of him? I know Almeria have had a decent season but what is his pedigree? Think they should maybe be going for Marcelino or even a Hiddink.

Valencia only need to win one or two games, and they'll be safe.

He's done well with them. Almeria's strength is set-pieces and defensive solidity - I think at the beginning of the season there was a stat that said if they scored first they would always win the game. That's why when they were playing with 10 men against Atletico he was still playing 4-2-3 as he always though he could get a set piece and score from it.

I think he might well end up moving at the end of the season. The full-backs Mane and Bruno have done well so I wouldn't be surprised if they move with him.

Valencia have it tough. They're yet to play Athletic at San Mames, Barcelona away, Osasuna at home and then Zaragoza at home. The last two who are also in the relegation fight.

What happened to Timmer? How come he wasn't playing. By the way Egypt had three keepers in the ACN squad and Ekramy wasn't one of them. Seems Shehata knows more about Egyptian keepers than van Marwijk.
