Time to do this again.... who is the best striker in the world?

Does not matter wether its a target man or a support striker, who is the most lethal of them all. If the striker you think is the best is not included in this list - its does not matter, I am sure I missed some real candidates.... just vote "other" and list him in your post.

I thought about it, maybe there is a case for it, but still IMO CR is not really a striker. Thats the only reason I did not list him.

I really dont know who vote for now.i just think there is one striker that is really impressing me that much this season. last season i thought Drogba,Totti,Ruud were really playing well but all have been worse this season.

Nobody stands out, Drogba and Eto'o despite their injuries are probably the two top dogs IMO.

Count Dracula. He's not interested, is lazy, only has a good 1st touch, whilst still getting 14 goals, 10 assists, and hurting all of the top 4 at some point this season.

It's hard to rank some of these players because for example Rooney is a better footballer than alot of them, but not a better striker.

If I wanted a player for my attack I'd pick Rooney over van Nistelrooy, Trezegeut etc. If I wanted someone to put away a chance I'd pick van Nistelrooy without thinking.

I'm reasonably sure that if he had an injury free season he'd still get you 20-25 league goals.

That isn't guaranteed with any other striker.

The problem is that Eto'o can still deliver goals but he's somehow completely lost his technical abilities. His ball control is at times appalling, he can't pass, losses the ball too easily. I know he is being played out of position but still it's inexplicable. He really was joy too watch Sad
