Good shout James getting nominated but pity Lescott was over looked but hard to leave the 6 nominated out.

Torres is 24 how much longer will he be considered young

Fabregas being there for two and a half months of excellent form is a joke when more deserving players are at smaller clubs.

Rooney being left off both lists is a disgrace, because performance wise he's been better than Ronaldo.


But of course, Ronaldo is a sure thing for both awards. No point even having the ceremony.

I made the same point on the other topic on this. Ridiculous inconsistency really, although as I said before, I don't think either should be considered for YPOTY when they are 24.

BM, as always the hard-working, grafting players don't get the attention. Flamini has been great this year and could have been nominated for either catagory. It's a shame for him that he hasn't been recognised, but these awards are always the same so it isn't surprising. Obviously it's not just Flamini that has missed out from this, Ferdinand deserves recognition but presumably doesn't have the right 'qualities' to get the necessary attention either.
