most online bookies only make Blackburn slight favourites to win this game! Was gonna lump on United but it's barely worth it.

This was always on the cards. A shame the Mancs can afford to draw this, as this is there best chance of losing.

United will obviously come back and win 3-1 with Ronaldo on the scoresheet.

Even if they lose I wouldn't worry...I most certainly will not put money on Chelsea winning at Stamford Bridge.

If Chelsea are 2 points behind United before that game (doubt it) then Chelsea will win. They are winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and what a chance to snatch it away from United.

I'm not convinced tbh. Though the CL match could play a part - at the start of this game Man. Utd. have just not been at the races, and maybe a few of their players have the midweek game on their mind. So it could be the same situation in the Chelsea match, provided we manage to get a good result at Camp Nou.

A Blackburn win here will be a huge huge advantage to both Liverpool and Barca IMO.

Dreadful lunge from Rooney. He's losing his cool a bit. He thought he should have had a penalty when caught by Reid in the box a few minutes ago. It was fairly reckless defending from Reid who did make a little contact, but Rooney went down with a very delayed reaction.

Bad dive by Rooney and afterwards makes a crazy tackle and gets a yellow. he didnt even go for the ball.

That was a classic Gerrard. ie. a reactive dive rather than a proactive one. ie. the dive wasn't pre-meditated, but it was a crafty piece of play to take advantage of a defender/midfielder's hapless position.

Ronaldo should have scored with a free header. Good save from Friedel.
