hate liverpool a lot more and i'd be sorely tempted to arrange a bombing of moscow if they play each other and on the basis its a must visit place for me before i die, i don't want to do that

We have the indian sign over Liverpool, however the thought of losing to them in a CL final gives me the shivers.

I thought I'd be quite happy to see an all English final so as to match the feats of the Italians (2003) and Spanish (2001).

Now that it is happening, Im not excited about it in the slightest

You could have guaranteed that if Barca had progressed, they'd have won the final though - and we'd have to put up with another year of 'the EPL is shit', 'the EPL are chokers' type comments.

if this sort of rule happened, wouldn't it just result in the top few clubs in England buying up all the English talent they can possibly get their hands on.. as young as possible - because the prices of established English players would get ridiculously high (they're crazily inflated as it is)

Chelsea because it would be harsh to lose AGAIN to Liverpool. And they could do the double United wants.

do you appreciate that they paid 30M for rio, 18M for carrick and 17M for hargreaves?

thereby further inflating the prices of english players and making sure that normal clubs couldn't ever compete with them

People who are saying the final is shite already need to take a reality check, let me tell you as fans of the 3 clubs still in it it would be the most unbeliveable 90 minutes of their lives particularly if it's United-Liverpool, for me beating United in Moscow would beat Istanbul, even if it was a 1-0 scrappy $h!t game. But one game at a time. I'm shitting one I'm off to the City centre, enjoy tonight's game, may the best team go through

it might be good for those involved but for the rest of us who enjoy the ECL for the clash of styles between different cultures, an all england final will be mind numbingly boring
