End of Season friendly fixture tonight. Should be a good test for our lads with 2 hugely important games v Romania early next season. 4 points and we'll top our group which also includes France. that would be an amazing effort, just hope they could then go on and qualify for Sweden 09.

Ched Evans is back in the squad having been withdrawn by Man. City originally.

But we are without Rambo who has some game he has to play on Saturday scratch

Wales U21 do very well in their EC qualification group. They could well KO France.

    table:

    Wales 6-15
    Romania 5-11
    France 6-11

group winner & 4 best runners up (10 groups in total) qualify for KO-stage. 7 winners & host Sweden qualify for EC.

    I'm not sure...

Can I ask...why you like Pantsil? He become a cult hero with us...despite hardly playing, and not being the best player. But our fans loved him, we'd always be singing his name...and buying shirts with Pantsil on it...Just seems strange that he seems so well liked, despite not being that great...

It started with his gung-ho performance against Hull, the only player to stand out really. I'm told he was the only player to come applaud to the fans who had made the trip. After the Arsenal and I think every home game since he has done a lap around the ground clapping the fans (I didn't stick around after the West Ham game).

On the pitch he is the most attacking full-back we have. Konchesky whilst solid is awful going forward. Stoor seems similar to Konchesky and Kallio is a converted centre-back. With the way we play all the width comes from the full backs, meaning Paintsil sees a lot of the ball. He does get caught out of position a few times but has the pace to recover usually.

Think it is something about the right backs at Fulham. First Volzy now Paintsil.

I think Pantsil is popular because he takes time to show fans how much they mean to him and that he appreciates them. He was popular in Ghana as well, despite not being a big name there.

yep it does. so 2-3 means et; 3-4 (after regular playinhg time or et) means wales progress.

    Ramsey really impressive so far.

    You've qualified by drawing.

So you'll join Belarus & Finland.

Swiss could be the next to qualify, it's 1-1 v Spain after 50' & won the Swiss their hometie 2-1.
