Robert Huth's agent has rejected reports linking the Middlesbrough defender with a move to Ajax.

Reports have suggested the Dutch giants are lining up a summer move for Huth as a replacement for Atletico Madrid-bound Johnny Heitinga.

Incoming Ajax boss Marco van Basten is thought to be a big fan of Huth and was hoping to lure the former Chelsea man to Amsterdam.

However, Huth's representative Manfred Schulte says there is no truth in the reports and that the player is happy at Middlesbrough.

    Settled

"I have seen the rumours, but there is nothing in it," Schulte told skysports.com.

"Robert is under contract at Middlesbrough and he is happy there.

"He has settled there well and he has no plans to move.

Van Basten What the f@ck... He is the worst player I've ever seen....lol! Shocked

    Another Collin to Amsterdam, 020?

how is HUTH doing at Stoke these days ?

would he be good enough to play for the Mannschaft ?

maybe Hummels could provide the brains, Huth the brawn

Kahn is right, our defence is shit and too "körperlos"

    a bit of no-nonsense Huth-flair might help

Huth is just a nasty clogger. Effective in a team like Stoke where main missions are to Get Yer Head On the Ball and Make Your Presence Felt. But I think he'd struggle in other systems.

    ok

A friend who supports Stoke can never believe how much Huth gets away with. He thinks that because of the Ramsey incident, much more attention is paid to Shawcross who he feels is a decent defenders and generally tries to play with a degree of honesty, but says that Huth's only intention from the first minute to the last is to cheat and to kick things hard (be that an opponent or the ball). A very average player who relentlessly tries to intimidate and foul players to save being shown up and exposed for his limited abilities.
