what a total desaster

the man who is currently ruining Oranje's reputation for eternity is flirting with managing HSV, the German giants

on the plus side , this ludicrous move would raise the club's global appeal

maybe van Basten taking over HSV next season would not be bad then

after a year we could sack him, and by then the prestige of holding the job could even tempt Mourinho, who we would then sack after a year as well

two years of walking through the desert could be offset by the two years of being in the global media spotlight

Martin Jol and Co Ariaanse are the other candidates now

poor poor HSV.. (well at least it isn't Koemann)

HSV are one of the top three clubs in Germany: historically

maybe even the second biggest

unfortunately, they are also massively underfinanced

I would like to see Schuster at the helm

last year he was lobbying so desperately ANY Bundesliga club to appoint him (even Worlfsburg) and said that he would prefer Bayern over Real

he could be tempted

otherwise Daum would be brilliant: he might not get promoted with Cologne and is wasted in that league

Veh could be another option

or, don't laugh

van Gaal: again it's an image thing; somebody has to put the club on the global map again; and if they lack the money to buy success they could still spend the money to buy world-wide media attention by appointing a big-name gaffer

Are the others realistic suggestions? Schuster currently looks like he will have success at Real Madrid, but I don't think anyone would discount him leaving this summer, and with Bayern recently appointing Klinsmann there might not be many other alternatives in Germany if Schuster wants to manage a top side in the Bundesliga. Are there any other names being considered at the moment?

Real had no problems firing Capello after he won the title, so they'll probably chuck out the German numpty too.

don't follow LaLiga at all, so can't judge his management. But as a player Schuster was very good tactically. 1 of the best Germans ever in that department.
