I hope cleaning the cum out of your pants after the cheer you got from the home fans wasn't too much of a problem.

You've proved to the world tonight just how brave you are and what massive bollocks you have for making under pressure decisions. You are now a hero for Austria and especially for UEFA for keeping one of the hosts mathematically in the competition.

The picture of you giving the penalty and striking that pose for the cameras will make a wonderful picture to put on the living room wall.

    Cheers c**t <Ale>

Poll made his error out of stupidity, Webb made his out of desire to be the star of the show and make the back page.

I thought the penalty decision was correct. Too often players are pulled down in the box from free kicks and corners and nothing is done about it.

    ok

and as far as I'm aware this (and diving) was something the ref's were ordered to clamp down on in this tournament.

Germany beat Poland so if they were to finish level on points Germany would qualify. Austria would have had nothing to play for in the final game - this way Austria will be trying for the win and never give up.

It's something that is way too prevalent and never acted on, but at the same time giving a decision like this, when we know there will be no consistency - means it's just the referee arbitrarily deciding the course of the game. In this case, it was a clear home decision.

Let's face it, exactly the same incident down the other end would never have gotten a penalty at that moment in that game. Hence I see it as bullshit posturing from Webb.

    ok

it was a correct decision, and fair from the point of view of the game, and the best thing for the group and the last round of matches. Now everyone has something to play for except croatia.

Austria to beat germany with a similar penalty and we'll all be happy Wink

Don't forget the tradition that 1 of the home nations gets through the group stages. Since the swsiss are out it is up to Austria.

Webb never does anything about it. Suddenly he GIVES the hosts a pen in the dying seconds of the game.

If he'ld be consistent he'ld now give a few pens every EPL game. Luckily he won't; he'll alow the pushing & pulling in the box again. So he's incosistent, so Cr@p & therefore A HUGE c**t!

    WAS SUCH A CHEAP DECISION.

Wonder if a foreign ref would have called that v England, whether the pundits would call it a good call too.

No UEFA are wrong for having one of the rules being applied inconsistently, harming my beloved Poland. Far worse pulling and shoving has been going on in other matches at this tourney. Only Poland get punished.

Wonder if a foreign ref would have called that v England, whether the pundits would call it a good call too.

Watch the match again if you don't see anyshirt pulling in it before, you need glasses. He was inconsistent himself too.

At least the other refs are consistent by only punishing attackers for pushing & shoving in the box.

He'll soon be calling his son Howard Webb Jnr

One of Webb's assistants, Mullarkey, recently revealed how Fifa training sessions had included preparation for the noise of the vuvuzelas in South Africa.

Mullarkey said: "When we're doing our training exercises Fifa is actually playing recorded sounds of vuvuzelas through the speakers.

"For three hours a day we're exposed to that sound which helps preparation."
