you must be in hell now

your beloved Italy and France are out

Germany are about to get their 4th star

    damn, right ?

Yeah, I'm renowned for my love of the French National team <Ale>

Damn right indeed but then I knew the winner could only come from Italy, France, Germany or Greece.

    They play to win.
And 3 of your picks won precisely 1 game between them in 10 attempts. Good call Smiley

Been distinctly unimpressed by Germany today...against such an injury/suspension hit Turkish side, the Germans should have been able to control the match from start to finish. Tournament winners need to know how to dictate a game against weaker opposition and make their on-paper superiority tell. But Germany are failing to do that. Turkey are no mugs, they have some super players, but clearly are making up a talent gap with their commitment, passion, and teamwork.

So I have to say I hope the winner comes from the Russia-Spain match.

Don't know what it is about the Spainish but I just can't bring myself to supporting them (even though I'd rather they win over Germany). So I'm really hoping they Ruskies can win the whole thing now.

There's certainly that element, Arsenal fans blowing Fabregas & Liverpool fans blowing Torres, even though I think both sets of fans would admit neither have been close to being key players.

Just don't think they've been that impressive themselves apart from the first game, ironically against Russia.
