Seriously though, is Sergio Ramos even on the pitch? Every single German attack is coming down his flank, and it's always Puyol or Marchena who are out of position covering for him.

Ramos managed to lift his arms out before the ball hit him, novel for a defender.

I'm slowly getting impressed by Torres' performance. He's making some brilliant runs by dropping into either flank, and is confusing the German midfield who are expecting Spain's attacks to come through the centre. The problem is with Villa out, there's no one to take up a position in the centre.

Fabregas has been invisible so far, and Iniesta keeps losing the ball when he gets it. Silva isn't seeing much of the ball because he's always on the opposite flank to Torres.

Ramos is really having a $h!t game. He's nowhere to be seen. Attack after attack is coming down the Spanish right flank, and it's always Puyol out there.

Neither German CB can match Torres' pace. He's detected that and is blatantly hit-and-running at them.
